Operating System - Windows XP SP3
Program Version - Actual Windows Manager Version 5.5 Beta 1
Prior to installing the beta, I was using Actual Windows Manager 4.5, as this was the latest version that my license correctly worked for.
I did not uninstall the old version prior to installing the beta.
I was, however, concerned about trying to install concurrent versions of the program, so I installed to 'C:\Program Files\Actual Window Manager'.
My configuration file was overwritten by the beta installation and, from all indications, is lost.
Please advise. Thank you!

Joseph, please specify - was your original configuration actually overwritten (in other words - replaced by the new one) or it was just reformatted by the beta and became incompatible with the version 4.5? In both cases, please describe the sequence of actions and the result as exactly as you can.

The file 'WindowsRules.ini' was overwritten in directory 'C:\Program Files\Actual Window Manager' as well as in directory 'C:\Documents and Settings\{User Name}\Application Data\Actual Tools\Actual Window Manager'.
All rules that I had defined prior to installation disappeared and new rules that I don't believe I've ever seen appeared.
Please let me know if I can assist further on this issue.
