When using "Startup > Align > Middle-Center" (perhaps others that center as well) with a PORTRAIT monitor configuration, the "window" is not centered correctly on the X-axis as it appears the Windows Task Bar is being computed in the X-axis, which puts it off the right on the monitor, what appears to be the exact height of the Windows Task Bar.  :o The Windows Task Bar in the PORTRAIT configuration is at the TOP. The monitor size is X:1440 x Y:2560. Further, although it should not make any difference, the PORTRAIT monitor is considered the "secondary", or monitor #2 on the system.

Always occurs.

Thanks!!!

Sincerely,
Lars

Dear Zardoz2293,

thank you for your post.

Please send us your Actual Window Manager configuration (Actual Window Manager -> Tools -> Configuration -> Send to Tech Support) with a reference to this thread. Also please provide me with a screenshot of your portrait-oriented monitor at the exact moment when a window, which is set to be middle-center aligned at startup, was just opened.

Best regards.

UPDATE:

Alexander,

Thanks for the quick reply. After detailed investigation I discovered the cause was occurring from another "Window Setting" event and not the one I was expecting. Specifically, the wonderful Windows Class = #32770. I have had this type of problem occur many times. I don't know if you are familiar with SysInternals "Process Explorer" -- I'd like to make the following recommendation / suggestion:

SUGGESTION / RECOMMENDATION:[B]

(A) To have the "Window Settings" highlight the specific window setting configuration that has fired/occurred within (user defined) seconds. This would allow the end-user to immediately identify which event(s) have been processed recently. AND/OR

(B) at a minimum a log listing in the Windows Settings panel showing a list of the window settings which have occurred.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

Sincerely,
Lars

Zardoz2293,

Did you try the Log window to detect which Window Settings were applied actually?
