I use kore2 and Maschine. Both applications offer the possibility to scan for new vst plugins. When doing so, a dialog box window class #32770 opens and crashes the application, due to error in aimem...
So, I excluded the dialog box class #32770 for applications kore2.exe and Maschine.exe.
In addition, I want to have all other dialog boxes class #32770 centered in the parent window, without any title bar buttons and without any window menu entries.
So, I created a window rule for windows class #32770.
However, now the kore2 and Maschine dialog boxes are applied this window rule, instead of being excluded, and these apps crash again.
What is the priority for applying window rules / excluding windows?
How can I achieve what I want?

Hi TabSel,
The priority for rules to be applied are Special Rules>Exclusions>Default Rules(> means more, not then).

What versions of these programs do you use?

How do you recall this window class #32770? And explain what did you mean under "aimem"?

I'm using the latest x64 version. The crash problem exists since years: http://www.actualtools.com/forum/read.php?FID=10&TID=2056&UID=6104

Sorry to say that but the only fix available here is to add problematic windows to Exclusions.

My question actually was:
How do I accomplish the Task of applying a window rule to window class #32770 of ANY application BUT with the exception of excluding the window of class #32770 of "Maschine.exe"?
I want to put all Dialog Windows (class #32770) of any application centered in the parent window, but excluding Dialog Windows of Maschine and Kore2 COMPLETELY (in order to avoid crashing).

Oh,I am sorry, forgot the core question
The only thing I can suggest you is to add the whole program to Exclusion i.e. uncheck the "Window Class" criteria in Exclusion rules.

I can NOT exclude the entire application, Because I need the main window positioned via AWM as the application does not restore its window position on launch correctly.
Any further ideas?

Hm..How about creating special rules for every window class except #32770?

Hello TabSel
Unfortunately, for now there is no way to get what you want because specific settings have greater priority than exclusions and you can't exclude single window of one class while having the specific settings for other windows of the same class.
Best regards.
