Had AWM cause my entire system to hang (Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) with the cause apparently to the following registry (2+17 -> 19) handles in use by AWM:

What application (name, version) did you use to get this information (about registry handles)?
Why do you think that your OS hangs depend on the registry activity?

Sorry for the delayed response:
As I recall this information was taken from the Event Log as it was reported as an Error.
My guess is AWM has not closed and disposed the object associated with registry activity for a long period of time. Perhaps associated with a system shutdown or sleep request activity and AWM does not respond within the system required time.

Did AWM cause your entire system to hang once only? If not, please specify a frequency of the issue appearing.
When did the problem occur (after starting AWM, after unloading AWM, while AWM was loading etc.)?

Entire system hang = only once
When occurrence = after AWM started, running for sometime, most likely resulted after restoring from a Windows sleep event (not claiming it occurred during the restore, just after at least one sleep state).

Unfortunately, we can't fix problems that we are unable to reproduce. Please try to trace which actions cause the problem appearing and provide us a step by step description of how to reproduce the problem.
