The color of the text label for the buttons in any secondary taskbars is the same color as the desktop background. In my case, that is black, so I have black text on a black taskbar background. Not good! 
If I change my desktop background to a lighter color, the font used in the taskbar buttons is more visible, but it's blurry and barely legible (see picture).
I have one app that has a time displayed in the taskbar button, so it really needs to be clear!
