Every time I log on to OS (Win10 x64, build 1607), during AWM is starting, ActualWindowManagerShellCenter64.exe crashes (screenshot attached). In app eventlog I found this error 1000:

Then when I stop remain processes ActualWindowManagerCenter.exe & ActualWindowManagerCenter64.exe and start ActualWindowManagerCenter.exe again, the error repeats.

Did you use previous versions of Actual Window Manager on the same OS (Win10 x64, build 1607)? Did this problem appear only with the version 8.9.1 of Actual Window Manager?

Could you open the configuration module alone, without launching ACtual Window Manager and send us your configuration files (Configuration module > Tools > Configuration > Send to Tech Support). Please add a link to this topic to the email.

I sent config files by mail. I'm not sure about AWM version, from which the problem starts occurring. I believed that new version solve the problem so I didn't point to it. The problem appeared on the same machine, the same OS (no reinstall) with previous version(s) too for sure.

The last two logons the the OS the problem have not appeared.

The problem doesn't happen on my computer with your configuratuion.

Have you installed any additional toolbars on AWM taskbars?

Could you try this: make a backup of your configuration, so that you can restore it later. Then open Windows Registry Editor (type regedit in the Start menu search field or press Win+R, then type regedit.exe in the Run window, press Enter), then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Actual Tools\Actual Window Manager\Command Center\Plugins\MultimonTaskbar and delete the taskbar states parameter. See whether it solves the problem and let us know.

Yes, I have BatteryBar Pro and iTunes toolbars installed. Unfortunately, the problem was not solved by deactivating them, neither by removing the taskbar states parameter from registry.

Could you install the new beta 1 version of Actual Window Manager 8.10 and see whether the problem is still persists?

If the problem appears again and ActualWindowManagerShellCenter64.exe crashes you'll be offered to send us the information about this problem. An email should be created automatically after you choose to send the information. If there are any problems with creating an email, you'll be offered to save the information in your current configuration files. In this case, save the information and send us your configuration files.

Hi Bogdan,

after I installed AWM 8.10 beta 1, installator tried to run AWM but unfortunately the same problem occured again. Report has been sent.

The mail message was sent via AWM bug report module on September 27, 2016 1:48 AM to bugreports@actualtools.com. I re-sent it just now from gmail.

Unfortunately, this information is not sufficient to figure out what causes this problem. Could you download the .reg file that enables minidumps, launch it on your computer and then reproduce the issue so that the error message appears. Then go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps and send us the file that is created in this folder upon the program crash.
