Is it possible to use Actual Multiple Monitors to create a desktop based on non-system drive - one that does NOT have a desktop. I would like to create a Virtual Desktop on a disk or folder which is on the network with the flexibility to organize the desktop just like the desktop on the host machine but a virtual one.

Unfortunately, for now virtual desktops of Actual Multiple Monitors aren't attached to folders at all (this is why you can't have different sets of icons on virtual desktops). But maybe it will be implemented later.
We'll consider this as a feature request.
