I have Dell 17 Inspiron 7746, a DisplayLink 3100 docking station and I have downloaded Actual Multiple Monitors 8.4. I am using Windows 10 64 bit, the latest version of DisplayLink (7.9 I believe) I have no experience in configuring external monitors and require what I think is a very simple setup. I would like to be able to plug my laptop into the docking station, close the cover and be able to use the external monitors. One for the primary monitor and the other to extend the width of the first. I have been able to configure the monitors, but when I close the cover of the laptop all of the monitors shut off. I would appreciate any guidance.

I'm sorry but this question does not relate to our software operation. You should consult you laptop (or docking station) user manual or contact Dell Customer Support for this kind of question.
