Hi, I'd greatly appreciate some help to let me know if it's possible to configure
a virtual desktop to setup like the 3 apps shown in my screencap, and if so, How? --

I'd like make these 3 apps assume these screen positions & sizes
upon clicking a hotkey for "Desktop 2", and then the same 3 apps would be available, without constraints,
as usual on the regular "Desktop 1".

These same apps need to be used on both desktops
because they need to retain any changes made whilst active on either desktop.

Thanks very much ~

experimenting w/ the Desktop Divider, i'm coming closer to doing what i want -

i don't yet get the differences between setting a hotkey in the bottom part of the dialog box,
and the overall activation hotkey setup at the top under "Enable Desktop Divider".

i'm able to understand the Desktop Divider a little bit, but not the virtual desktop yet.

i would like to hotkey a setup that would auto-magically open those 3 apps (if they're not already open)
and position them like i've shown in the screencap.

i have paid for this program, and gladly - it really improves my whole computing life!

i see - the hotkey at the bottom really only makes sense
when there's more than 1 Desktop Divider schema to switch between by using hotkeys ...

I have the top choice set to "Always" on,
and now i see how if i drag a window to one of the zones,
and wait for the zone to fill in completely with its color,
then the window will "Snap To" the zone and fill it completely --

i should mention that i do NOT use aero snap feature,
tho' i'm running w7 64bit

i have an AHK script that simulates Linux window move/resize,
but i think i'll really like this Desktop Divider

Hello,

Sorry for the delay with reply.
First of all:"i don't yet get the differences between setting a hotkey in the bottom part of the dialog box,
and the overall activation hotkey setup at the top under "Enable Desktop Divider"." The difference is that "Enable" on the top allows you to use all the divider tiles while the activation hotkey launches the exact layout.
Also, if I understood you correctly all you need is to create a layout like in screenshot attached.
Please note that you can drag the lines while editting the layout.
