Sorry. The error message that I get everytime I shut down my machine is the error with Explorer.exe that says:
The instruction at "0x00c31650" referenced memory at "0x00c31650". The memory could not be written.
There are a few of them that I get when sometime I compile my VB applications. I have not been working much with VB6 of late, so haven't noticed those. Will write then as soon as I get one of those errors.

The copy that you gave was the same one that I had. I did get the same errors for a couple of days, but since last one week I am not getting any error. God knows its one of the Microsoft updates which has been responsible for this. I will get back to you in case I get any error or clue on this issue. Thanks for listening.

Thanks for your help. The occurance of error has reduced to once in 15 days. So let's blame it on Microsoft and thanks for such an excellent product
