I'm considering completely re-installing my base/host OS and reconfiguring my VMs. I'm a software developer and so I use a lot of VM's. This change would be big enough that I wanted to see if I could get some feedback on the topic.
I want to install Win8 as my base OS but I will leave that pretty or completely clean and work almost exclusively in VMs. The VM I would care about for AWM would be Win7 x64 Ultimate.
My question is how well (or not) does AWM work in a VMWare Workstation 9/Win 7 x64 VM running dual monitors? This is the environment I would using using most of the time and running AWM in and I don't want to give up some of my AWM features.
Any experiences and/or comments would be greatly appreciated.

AWM works in the environment you've described as well as on real workstation with the same characteristics.
